Mobs of the neutral type are spiders. As its name suggests, mobs refer to all living, moving creatures in a game such as chickens, creepers, and spiders. In Survival mode, a spider will only attack you if you attack it first. They never attack you during the night in Survival mode. The spider would never attack you in Creative mode.

Health Points

There are 8 hearts in a spider's health in Minecraft. One heart equals two health points, so a spider will have 16 health points. The spider must suffer 16 points of damage in order to die.

Where to Find Spiders

Most Overworld biomes in Minecraft have spiders in light levels of 7 or less.In general, spiders are more prevalent at night. When a spider spawns in the dark, it can survive in the daylight.
