Hostility Level (Neutral)
Mobs of the neutral type are spiders.As its name suggests, mobs refer to all living, moving creatures in a game such as chickens, creepers, and spiders.In Survival mode, a spider will only attack you if you attack it first.They never attack you during the night in Survival mode.The spider would never attack you in Creative mode.
Health Points
There are 8 hearts in a spider's health in Minecraft.One heart equals two health points, so a spider will have 16 health points.The spider must suffer 16 points of damage in order to die.
Where to Find Spiders
Most Overworld biomes in Minecraft have spiders in light levels of 7 or less.In general, spiders are more prevalent at night.When a spider spawns in the dark, it can survive in the daylight.
NOTE
In case you are having trouble finding a spider, you can trigger one by using a cheat or by using a spawn egg.
Weapon
Spiders carry no weapons.
Attack Method
When you are attacked by a spider in Minecraft, it will jump towards you and attack you.
Drops
Spiders drop string and spider eyes when killed in Minecraft.Usually, spiders will drop string, but sometimes they also drop an eye.

You should pick up dropped items before they disappear.The items are useful and should be stored in your inventory for a future use.
Experience Points
During the game, you will gain experience.Killing mobs is the most common way to gain experience.You will see tiny green and yellow balls move towards you when a mob is killed.

As you can see, these orbs represent experience points.If you kill a spider, you'll gain 5 experience points.
